OGUN GUBER RACE: ODEGBAMI DECLARES TO RUN FOR LABOUR PARTY

Chief Patrick Segun Odegbami, A former Captain of the Green Eagles, has today declared his interest to run for the governorship election in Ogun state in the forthcoming 2019 general Elections.
 

This he made known in an email addressed to his friends stating that he is “taking a plunge into the uncharted rivers of Nigerian politics,” and would be doing so as “a member of the Labour Party.”

In his message, he described Ogun State as “a model State in progressive governance with focus on the people," which needs “right kind of leadership that prioritse the people's "general well being and welfare, plus unprecedented rapid development.” 

On how he inetends to go about achieveing this, he stated that his financial strength and weapon was the people and has called them to support his intention
 “ I call on all Nigerians, from all walks of life, young and old, at home or in the Diaspora, of all tribes and tongue, all who seek a great country, a healthy people, a vibrant army of youths”
