In a press statement issued on Tuesday, The British High Commission through its spokesperson for the UK Embassy in Abuja, Joe Abuku, has issued a statement in reaction to the DSS siege on the National Assembly earlier today.
The statement reads;

be voted for. We favour a free, fair, credible and peaceful process and the independence
of institutions, which allow for that”
Earlier on Tuesday, some men of the DSS supported by the police were seen laying siege in an unauthorized takeover of the National Assembly complex claiming that there was an attempt to forcibly remove Senate President Bukola Saraki from office.
